Villa Bliss Palm sits in thirty thousand square metres of pine forest above Cala Jondal, with views across to Formentera from almost every terrace. It was built for entertaining: the 18-metre infinity pool is the centre of the day, and there are three separate outdoor dining areas to follow the light, from the eastern terrace in the morning to the main deck for dinner.
What makes it work for weddings is the night. When the outdoor music has to stop, the party moves into the private nightclub, with its own sound system and terrace, so it can carry on without disturbing the neighbours. The rooftop bar seats more than forty above the pool for those who would rather talk than dance.
Eight suites sleep sixteen: the couple, family and the closest friends. There is parking for twelve cars, and the rest of the guests are best placed in hotels in Ibiza Town or along the south coast, with shuttles arranged for the evening.
