Cantoniblay wedding plans need the owners' written permission, because the house rules ban events unless contracted with them. The 5-hectare estate near Es Caló, Formentera, has three farmhouses for 18 people, 800 m from Migjorn beach.
Why couples choose it
A Cantoniblay wedding is a small-group plan for Formentera, and it starts with the owners' permission. Can Toni Blay is a 50,000 m² estate at km 10.3 of the La Mola road, near Es Caló, with three traditional farmhouses for 18 people. Its house rules ban events unless you contract them with the owner in writing.
The three houses, Migjorn, Llevant and Tramontana, form a small block of white walls around shared terraces and a patio with a centuries-old olive tree. Each is named after the wind its porch faces. The land is covered in savin juniper, agave and pine. The site markets the estate for quiet holidays, stargazing and yoga and wellness retreats. It does not mention weddings.
Staying over
The estate sleeps 18 in nine bedrooms, and each house has its own kitchen, dining room, living room, barbecue and covered parking.
Migjorn has an upper terrace with views of the north coast and La Mola. Tramontana has a rooftop lounge with a 270° view over La Mola and the Tramontana coast. Llevant's porch faces east towards La Mola. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 11:00. The houses are let individually, so ask the owners about booking all three together.
Music and rules
Each house's rules say that organising or holding any kind of event is strictly prohibited unless it is contracted with the owner's written authorisation. No music end time is published. Get the permission in writing, and agree guest numbers, music and timings at the same time. Our guide to rules and permits explains what else to check. Weddings on Formentera are usually a symbolic ceremony, with the legal part done at home.
There is no pool listed, pets are not allowed and smoking is not allowed indoors. The tap water is slightly saline.
Price indication
The owners do not publish rates, and the holiday-rental listings we checked in October 2026 show a price only once you enter dates. Our estimate for all three houses for a week in high season is €15,000 to €35,000. That is a band from comparable villas in our directory, not a quote. Payment is 30% to book, 30% two months before arrival and 40% 15 days before. Deposits are €400 for Migjorn and €200 each for Llevant and Tramontana, and Formentera's eco-tax is €2.20 per person per day. See our budget guide.
Getting there
Migjorn beach is 800 m away, on foot or by car without using the main road. The fishing village of Es Caló de Sant Agustí, with restaurants, a pharmacy, a supermarket and car hire, is about 1 km. The owners recommend hiring a car. More in our transport guide and the Formentera area page.
Who it suits
Couples who want to stay together on Formentera with up to 18 people, close to the south-coast beach, and who will hold the celebration elsewhere or agree a small event with the owners in writing. It does not suit anyone looking for a ready-made wedding venue.
