In short
- Published estimates for the same wedding differ more than three-fold, mostly because of what they include.
- For around 80 guests at a good venue with a planner, photographer and full production, expect roughly €50,000–€80,000 including VAT.
- Most quotes exclude Spanish VAT (IVA, usually 21%), flights and guest accommodation.
- July and August cost noticeably more; Tuesday to Thursday dates can save on venue hire.
There is no single price for an Ibiza wedding, and the estimates you find online disagree wildly. That is mostly because each source counts different things: one includes planning, production and tax, the next does not. Below are the published estimates side by side, then the line items, then what usually gets left out.

What drives the cost
- The date. July and August cost the most; one UK directory cites a 30–40% venue premium over June or September. Midweek dates (Tuesday to Thursday) can save 20–30% on venue hire.
- Guest numbers. Catering, drinks, staff, transport and furniture all scale with the head count.
- The venue type. A hotel or restaurant comes with a kitchen, furniture, staff and toilets. A villa or finca is a blank canvas: beautiful, but everything is brought in.
- How many days. Welcome drinks and a recovery brunch are part of most Ibiza weddings, and each is an event to budget for.
Costs couples forget
- VAT (IVA), usually 21% and often not in the quote
- Generators, lighting and extra toilets at off-grid fincas
- Guest shuttles: public transport to rural venues at night is limited and taxis are scarce
- Late-night food, overtime past midnight, supplier travel
- Venue minimum spends and seasonal surcharges
- The Balearic tourist tax for every guest night (see the guest guide)
Getting more from the budget
- Choose a venue that already has most of what you need.
- Keep ceremony and reception in one place to save transport and a second set-up.
- Put the money where guests feel it: food, drinks, music and a comfortable way home.
