Chapter I · Introduction
The north is the least built-up part of Ibiza: pine-covered hills dropping to coves such as Benirràs and Portinatx, and villages like Sant Joan and Sant Miquel, whose hilltop church is one of the island's most photographed.
It is the furthest from the airport, so plan guest transport carefully and consider housing guests nearby rather than in Ibiza Town.

Wedding villa
A coastal estate above Cala Xarraca in the north of Ibiza, run by the same owners as Fincadelica San Lorenzo and opened in 2024. It has nine bedroom suites, a sea-view pool deck, a private gate to the shore and a bar room that can be set up as a private club for about 80 guests.
Hotel
A long-established clifftop hotel above the bay of Na Xamena on the north-west coast near Sant Miquel, with rooms and suites looking straight out to sea. Weddings typically use a stone amphitheatre among the pines over the cliffs for the ceremony, a rooftop terrace for sunset drinks, and an indoor salon with terrace for dinner and dancing. The hotel's kitchen and in-house planner handle the event.
Restaurant
A farm-to-table restaurant in an old whitewashed Ibicenco house in the village of Sant Mateu d'Albarca, supplied by the owners' nearby Juntos Farm. Events can use the courtyard terrace with festoon lights, a separate garden planted with lavender and grasses for long communal tables, and the indoor dining rooms. Food comes from the restaurant's own kitchen; there is no accommodation.
Restaurant
Port Balansat is a family-run seafood restaurant, open since 1971, facing the beach at Port de Sant Miquel on the north coast. For weddings and private events it uses a seafront terrace for about 90, a side terrace for 35 and a renovated indoor hall that splits into spaces for 140 and 50, up to about 200 guests in total. Food is traditional Ibizan fish, seafood and rice from its own kitchen.
Hotel
A large eco-luxury resort built into the cliffs above Xarraca Bay on the north coast, near Sant Joan. Ceremonies are set up on sea-view lawns and decks over the bay, and dinners can be held in its restaurants or in the Beach Caves, a waterfront venue next to the resort's small nightclub. A dedicated team plans menus and logistics with the resort's own kitchens.
Wedding villa
Two Ibicenco houses with three bedrooms each, set in about 30 acres of pine forest near Portinatx in the north of Ibiza, with a short path to the cove of Cala Xucla. The larger house was designed by Rolf Blakstad; the smaller one is a centuries-old finca with sabina-wood ceilings.
