In short

  • A wedding for 24 to 40 guests can cost about €13,000 to €15,000 for venue, food, drink, ceremony, photographer and hair and make-up, using published 2025–2026 prices.
  • Restaurants and hotels price per guest: Cana Sofía lists wedding menus from €65 to €250 plus 10% VAT (2025), and Ocean Drive Talamanca a cocktail wedding with drinks at €150, VAT included (November 2025).
  • Ocean Drive Talamanca lists no venue hire fee and a minimum of 30 guests; Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay takes 20 to 60 guests but charges €4,350 for its rooftop (2026).
  • Villa rents fall by more than half outside high summer: Can Frare lists €6,999 a week in April and late October against €15,999 from mid-July (2026).
  • A symbolic ceremony has no Spanish fees: a celebrant's short elopement ceremony starts at €400 plus VAT (Your Day Ibiza, 2026).

A small wedding in Ibiza for under €25,000 is realistic with 10 to 40 guests, a restaurant or hotel that prices per guest, and a date outside July and August. Using published 2025–2026 prices, our two example weddings come to about €13,000 for 24 guests and €15,300 for 40, before travel and rooms.

This guide covers micro-weddings, weekday and off-season dates, the restaurants and beach clubs that publish per-guest prices, elopements and symbolic ceremonies, and what to leave out. The examples use real price lists, from a beach restaurant at Cala Vadella to Juntos House in Sant Mateu, which says it hosts anything from a dinner for twelve upwards.

What €25,000 buys

€25,000 buys a complete small wedding in Ibiza if most of it goes on food, drink and a few good suppliers. It does not buy a villa in high summer, a three-day programme and 80 guests. Our budget guide puts a wedding for about 80 guests at a good venue at €50,000 to €80,000, so the saving comes mostly from the guest list.

Three things keep a wedding under the line:

  1. The number of guests. At a restaurant, every guest adds a menu and a bar package, usually €100 to €250 between them.
  2. The type of venue. A restaurant or hotel brings its kitchen, staff, tables, toilets and lighting. A villa or finca brings none of these, and each one is hired separately.
  3. The date. Villas and many venues charge less in spring, autumn and midweek.
Good to know: ask every supplier whether VAT is included. Spanish VAT is 10% on food and drink and 21% on most services such as photography and music (Ley 37/1992, articles 90 and 91), so "plus IVA" changes the total.

Micro-weddings

A micro-wedding of 10 to 30 guests is the easiest way to keep a wedding in Ibiza under budget. With so few people you can take a private room at a restaurant, a terrace at a hotel or a table for one long dinner, and pay per guest instead of hiring a whole venue.

The catch is minimums. Some venues set a lower limit on guests or spend:

  • Ocean Drive Talamanca applies its wedding rates from a minimum of 30 guests.
  • Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay takes weddings of 20 to 60 guests.
  • Cana Sofía gives exclusive use of the whole restaurant from 65 to 75 guests; below that, the wedding takes one of its rooms, the smallest of which seats 35.

A small group also changes the day. With 20 people, the ceremony, dinner and toasts can share one long table, and the money goes on food and the photographer.

Restaurants and beach clubs

Restaurants and beach clubs are the venues that most often publish per-guest prices, which makes them the best starting point for a small budget. A published menu price usually covers canapés, dinner, house wine, water and service. The open bar, the DJ and the ceremony set-up come on top.

Es Jardins de Fruitera, a country restaurant on the Santa Gertrudis to Sant Llorenç road, is one of the few with no venue fee in its listing. A mi Manera's €100 menu is its everyday set dinner; a wedding there adds a buy-out, bar and music.

Beach clubs vary more. Some quote per guest; others set a minimum spend for the day. Experimental Beach, in the Ses Salines natural park, lists a minimum spend of €20,000 to €40,000 depending on the month (2025), which on its own uses most of a €25,000 budget.

Hotels for small weddings

A hotel works well for a small wedding because the guests sleep where they celebrate, so there is no night transport to pay for. Ocean Drive Talamanca gives wedding guests 25% off rooms and includes the couple's wedding-night room. Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay gives guests 10% off, but requires every wedding to be booked through a wedding planner, which adds a fee.

Weekday and off-season

A weekday or off-season date lowers the price of anything that is rented by the day or the week. The effect is clearest at villas, which publish rates by month:

Villa

Spring or autumn

High summer

Can Frare

€6,999 a week, April and late October (2026)

€15,999 a week, 15 July to 2 September (2026)

Finca Nest

€40,000 a week, April (2027)

€85,000 a week, July and August (2027)

Can Frare also charges an event fee of €3,000 for up to 35 guests and asks for a minimum stay of 4 nights for a wedding. Even in April, a villa wedding there starts at about €8,000 before any food, drink or staff.

Restaurants and hotels publish fewer seasonal prices, so ask for the rate on your date and whether a Tuesday to Thursday costs less than a Saturday. Cana Sofía is open all year, with an air-conditioned upstairs room. Others close: Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay was open until 26 October in 2026. Guests save too, as the Balearic tourist tax falls by 75% from 1 November to 30 April (Ley 2/2016).

Cana Sofía: Dining room with white-dressed chairs and cove view
Good to know: in April, May and October the weather is milder and less certain. Pick a venue with a covered or indoor space for the ceremony; Cana Sofía moves its beach ceremony to a terrace if the weather turns.

Elopements and ceremonies

An elopement is the smallest Ibiza wedding: the two of you, or a handful of people, a short ceremony and a dinner. Almost every elopement in Ibiza is a symbolic ceremony. You marry legally at home, so the ceremony on the island has no Spanish paperwork, fees, apostilles or translations.

A celebrant writes and leads the ceremony. Your Day Ibiza publishes its prices: the Effortless ceremony, about 15 minutes for the two of you or up to 10 guests, costs from €400 plus VAT in 2026; the Timeless ceremony costs €800 plus VAT, and €1,700 plus VAT with 90 minutes of live music. More celebrants are listed under celebrants and officiants.

IWIPHOTO4 Where to hold it depends on how many people come:

  • For two to ten people: a terrace at the villa or hotel where you stay, then dinner at a restaurant. Our elopement day shows the timings.
  • For up to about 30: Kazamor, a dry-hire venue above Cala Vadella, offers ceremonies and elopements for up to about 30 guests in a 2 to 3 hour window. It does not publish an elopement price.
  • On the water: Float Your Boat Ibiza lists shared sunset cruises from €65 per guest and private charters with catering from €100 per guest (September 2025).
Good to know: a ceremony on a public beach needs authorisation that is rarely given. A beach restaurant or club with its own terrace is the usual answer.

Two example budgets

These two weddings are built only from published prices. Wedding A is a micro-wedding at a beach restaurant; Wedding B is a 40-guest wedding at a hotel where everyone can stay.

Wedding A: 24 guests at Cana Sofía, a weekday in May. Cana Sofía's prices exclude VAT, so it is added on a separate line.

Cana Sofía allows no outside food or staff except your photographer, so Wedding A has no outside cake; at Ocean Drive, ask whether an outside cake is allowed. The photographer's starting price carries no year on her site, so confirm it.

What to skip

The quickest savings come from the events and extras that multiply with guests and hours:

  • A second and third event. A welcome dinner and a recovery brunch are each a full catering bill. At Petunia Ibiza they cost €160 and €60 per guest. Drinks at a beach bar on the night before cost far less.
  • High summer at a villa. Can Frare's rent more than doubles from April to mid-July. Move to May, June, September or October.
  • A blank-canvas venue. At a dry-hire villa or finca you pay separately for furniture, lighting, generators and toilets: a single portable VIP toilet unit costs €845 for 24 hours plus VAT (The Ibiza Chair Company, 2026).
  • The late party. An extra open-bar hour adds €20 to €30 per guest at many venues. A party that ends at midnight costs less and suits the noise rules.
  • Night transport. Choose a hotel where guests stay, or one central pick-up point, instead of door-to-door transfers at night rates.
  • Styling for a big room. For 20 guests, one long table with candles and local flowers does more than an arch, lounge areas and signage.

Keep the things guests notice: good food, a ceremony that sounds like you, a photographer you trust, and a safe way home.

Questions

How much does a small wedding in Ibiza cost?

For 20 to 40 guests, expect about €13,000 to €20,000 for the venue, food, drink, ceremony and the main suppliers, based on published 2025–2026 prices. Our two worked examples come to about €13,000 for 24 guests at a beach restaurant and €15,300 for 40 guests at a hotel rooftop. Flights, rooms, outfits and rings come on top.

Can you get married in Ibiza for under €20,000?

Yes, with a small guest list and a venue that prices per guest. A restaurant or hotel with a published menu keeps food, drink, staff, furniture and toilets in one price. The total climbs past €20,000 when you add a second event, a villa in July or August, a full styling team or more than about 50 guests.

What is the cheapest time to get married in Ibiza?

April, May, late September and October usually cost less than July and August, and weekdays less than Saturdays. Villa rates show it most clearly: Can Frare lists €6,999 a week in April against €15,999 in high summer (2026). The Balearic tourist tax also drops by 75% from November to April. Some hotels close in late October, so check opening dates.

Can you elope in Ibiza?

Yes. Most elopements are symbolic ceremonies, with the legal marriage done at home, so there is no Spanish paperwork. A celebrant can lead a short ceremony for the two of you or a few guests: Your Day Ibiza's Effortless ceremony costs from €400 plus VAT in 2026, for up to 10 guests. Add a photographer and dinner at a restaurant.

Do small weddings get exclusive use of a venue?

Not always. Many restaurants give you one room or terrace and keep the rest open. Cana Sofía, for example, offers exclusive use from 65 to 75 guests; smaller groups take one of its rooms. Hotels such as Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay stay open to other guests. Ask what is private and what is shared before you book.

Do you need a wedding planner for a small wedding in Ibiza?

Not always, but some venues require one: Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay asks every wedding to be booked through a planner. A restaurant or hotel that supplies the food, drink, staff and ceremony set-up needs less outside coordination than a villa. Our planner guide sets out what each kind of help covers.
