Ibiza's wedding season runs roughly from April or May to mid-October, when the venues and beach clubs are open and the evenings are warm. Each part of it has a different feel.

May is fresh and green, quieter and better value; the sea is still cool. June has the longest evenings of the year. July and August are hot, dry and busy: plan the ceremony for late afternoon, shade for guests and plenty of water. September is many planners' favourite month: the sea is at its warmest and the light is golden, but rain becomes more likely later in the month. Early October is calm and beautiful, with the highest chance of a shower.

Ceremonies are often timed so the light is soft for photos, an hour or two before sunset:
- Around 21 June: sunset at about 21:23
- Early September: about 20:25
- Mid-September: about 20:05
- End of September: about 19:40
Always have a rain plan
Even in summer, a storm can come through. Ask every venue where the ceremony and dinner go if it rains, and have it set up as a real option, not an afterthought.
