Boutique Bartending
Bar service
Boutique Bartending supplies vintage-style mobile bars and bartenders for weddings and parties across Ibiza, and belongs to the Project Social bar in Santa Eulària. Couples can choose a pre-paid open bar, tokens, a cash bar or bring their own drinks.
What they do
Boutique Bartending supplies mobile bars and bartenders for weddings, villa parties, stag and hen parties and larger events across Ibiza. It is part of Project Social, a bar and restaurant in Santa Eulària open all year for cocktails, craft beer and street food. The company brings the bar, ice, glassware and drinks, then clears up afterwards and recycles where it can.
The team
The management team has more than 40 years in the bar and restaurant trade. Before Ibiza, they owned and ran several cocktail bars and restaurants in London. In May 2016 they opened Project Social. Their bartenders come from busy cocktail bars.
Wedding bars
There are four ways to run the bar at a wedding:
- Pre-paid open bar: you pay in advance and guests drink freely.
- Tokens: you pay for a set number of drinks and hand guests tokens.
- Cash bar: guests pay for their own drinks.
- Your own drinks: you supply the alcohol and hire the bar, the bartenders or both.
For each option the team writes a drinks menu for the day. They also work out quantities of drinks, glasses, refrigeration, ice and staff, which saves couples a lot of arithmetic. There are six bar set-ups with a vintage feel, from 2 to 8 metres long, in straight, L or U shapes. They can be decorated to suit the theme. A smaller set-up, The Suitcase, suits intimate parties.
Prices
The website lists bar hire at €300 a day and bartenders at €25 an hour. Fridges and freezers are €100 each per day, and glasses €0.50 to €1 each. A cash bar costs €300 for the hire plus a €1,500 deposit, returned from the money taken over the bar. The prices carry no date, so treat them as indicative and confirm them in your quote.
