Ibiza Boat Club

Boat charter

Ibiza Boat Club runs three large party catamarans from the pier at Platja d'en Bossa, for groups of 15 to 320 guests. For weddings it hosts private charters with local food, live cooking, DJs and swim stops, from welcome parties to Formentera day trips.

What they do

Ibiza Boat Club calls itself a floating beach club. It runs public boat parties and a Formentera day trip, and charters its catamarans for private events, including weddings. The company behind the tickets is Cruceros Turísticos S.L., and the founder has run events on catamarans in Ibiza for 25 years.

There are three boats. IBC I takes 25 to 170 guests, IBC II 25 to 320 and IBC III 15 to 35. The 90ft flagship has two decks, with daybeds on the upper deck, a dance floor and a Void sound system.

Weddings in Ibiza

The wedding offer is built around the days either side of the main event: a welcome cocktail party, a day trip to Formentera with swim stops in quiet bays, or a closing boat party at the end of the weekend. Local food, live cooking, DJ sets, water toys and drinks can be added, and the team can also arrange entertainment and photography.

The decks are laid out for lounging and dancing, not for a seated dinner, so plan a relaxed format. A boat and beach weekend shows how a day at sea fits around the wedding, and the Formentera page covers the island itself.

Good to know

  • Wedding prices are not published; you get a personal quote.
  • Private events start at 15 guests.
  • Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure, and the company asks guests to arrive well ahead because the boat cannot wait.
  • Taxis are hard to find in June to August, so book coaches to the pier. See our transport guide.

Questions

How many guests do the Ibiza Boat Club catamarans take?

Ibiza Boat Club has three boats: IBC I for 25 to 170 guests, IBC II for 25 to 320 and IBC III for 15 to 35. It does not take private events for groups of fewer than 15. The decks are set with daybeds and lounges rather than dinner tables.

How much does an Ibiza Boat Club wedding charter cost?

Ibiza Boat Club does not publish wedding prices. You send your date, guest numbers and plans through the wedding enquiry form, and the team replies with a personal quote. Food, drinks, DJs and extras are built into that quote to suit your day.

Where do the boats leave from?

All trips leave from the boat pier at Calle de la Punta 2 in Platja d'en Bossa. Check in at the Ibiza Boat Club counter in front of Pier 69. There is parking 10 metres from the pier, and bus line L14 stops close by.

Can we get married on board?

The company sells its boats mainly for the events around a wedding: a welcome cocktail party, a Formentera day trip or a closing boat party. A ceremony on board would be symbolic, as most Ibiza weddings are, with the legal part done at home. Ask whether it fits your route.
