Perfectly Balanced Ibiza, or PBI, is a mobile cocktail bar service on the island. It works at weddings, brand events, private parties, hen parties, on yachts and in villas. Drinks take their cue from Ibiza: wild herbs and botanicals, fresh fruit, and local spirits and wines. Mocktails are always on the menu.
The people
Thiago, from Colombia, and Lucy, from the UK, are a couple who worked in hospitality around the world. That included cruise ships out of the USA, hotels in Dubai, and Ibiza nightclubs and beach bars. Thiago had more than 9 years behind the bar when they started Perfectly Balanced in 2019. Lucy is a stationery designer and designs the printed cocktail menus and other details for each event.
Weddings
The wedding package runs for 8 hours and works as an all-inclusive open bar. It covers welcome drinks, the aperitif cocktail reception, wine at dinner and a signature cocktail bar for the dance floor. Each package includes fully equipped mobile bars, glassware and bar decor, a custom printed menu, all fresh ingredients and drinks, and a bar team. The team covers back-of-house staff, waiters, mixologists and floor managers.
The day after, a relaxed pool day bar serves hydrating drinks and restorative cocktails, with food such as pizza or a barbecue. The site describes past weddings at Can Frare and at The Farm, where natural wines, a seasonal sangria and bottles of hierbas as guest favours were part of the day.
