Barracuda Ibiza Charter is a boat rental company in Ibiza Town with motor yachts, sailing boats, gulets and event catamarans around Ibiza and Formentera. For weddings it offers event boats for 12 to 350 guests and arranges catering, decoration, waiters and DJs on board.
What they do
Barracuda Ibiza Charter rents and sells boats from an office on Avenida 8 de Agosto in Ibiza Town. The fleet on its site runs from small open boats and motorboats to sailing yachts, catamarans and mega yachts, with suggested routes around Ibiza and to Formentera.
For groups, it has a separate set of boats designed and approved for events. These range from a 12-person sailing boat to a 37-metre catamaran for 350 guests, with gulets, a 30-metre classic boat and catamarans for 80 and 150 in between.
Weddings in Ibiza
The company lists weddings among the events it organises on board. It co-ordinates the catering, decoration, waiters and DJs, and recommends the boat that fits your group. A gulet or classic boat suits a smaller wedding party or a day out for close family. The large catamarans work for a welcome party or a day trip with most of your guests.

Good to know
- Event boats start at €1,600 (12-person sailing boat). The 80-person catamaran starts at €2,750 and the 350-person catamaran at €14,500. Some are on request.
- Unless a boat's page says otherwise, 21% VAT and fuel are extra.
- Where a skipper is not included (usually boats under 12 metres), the fee is €150 a day. A hostess costs €120 a day.

How much does an event boat cost?
Event boats start at €1,600 for a 12-person sailing boat and go up to €14,500 for the 350-person catamaran. Gulets for 25 to 47 guests start between €1,800 and €2,550. Some boats are priced on request. Its FAQ says prices exclude 21% VAT and fuel unless stated otherwise.
Can we hold an evening party on the boat?
Only until sunset. The company's FAQ says no charter boat may sail at night, and day charters return before sunset so the boat can refuel. Plan a sunset cocktail on board and move the dinner and party ashore.
How do we book?
Contact the team by email, phone or WhatsApp to pre-book a boat. A 50% payment confirms the booking, and the other 50% is due on the day of boarding. If bad weather stops the trip, the date is changed or the booking is refunded.
