Laetitia & Sylvian at Villa Sara
By the Ibiza Wedding Inspiration editorial team · Updated 23 October 2026
Laetitia and Sylvian had six months, no time to visit and a taste for classic glamour. They chose Villa Sara from video tours and married on a walkway across its infinity pool, with an eight-tier white cake to follow.
The couple
Laetitia and Sylvian decided to marry on Ibiza and did not want a long engagement, so everything was organised within half a year. They were too busy to fly out and see venues in person. Planned by Bliss Ibiza Weddings, the search was done remotely: the couple received presentations and videos of several villas and settled on Villa Sara almost at once. Their own style was classic, sophisticated and confident, and the wedding was designed to match.
The ceremony
Villa Sara is a contemporary house with a panoramic view over the island. Its main feature for the ceremony was the infinity pool: a walkway was laid across the water, lined on both sides with greenery, so the couple stood in the middle of the pool with the landscape behind them. The palette was classic white with pale, natural green, and the flowers were lavish and sculptural. As a villa wedding, this was a symbolic ceremony.
Laetitia's dress had an embroidered bodice, statement sleeves at the shoulder and a long train.
Dinner and party
Dinner was laid in the garden under a canopy of fairy lights. Muted linen, carefully set places and menus written in calligraphy kept the look refined, and the same white and green flowers ran along the tables.
The cake was the centrepiece of the evening: eight tiers, white on white, with white roses cascading down one side. Later the dancing went on under coloured lights, with the couple's names lit up beside the pool.
The details
- A walkway across the infinity pool for the ceremony
- White and pale green throughout, from the ceremony to the tables
- Fairy lights, muted linen and calligraphy menus
- An eight-tier white cake with cascading roses
The couple booked two photographers with different styles, so the day was recorded from two points of view. The wedding was later featured in Vogue.
Good to know
Planning in six months without a site visit is possible when you have good video of each venue and decide quickly; ask for walk-through footage of the ceremony spot, the dinner area and the party space, not just the bedrooms. A pool can become the ceremony aisle if the structure is built properly and the villa agrees in writing. If you book two photographers, agree in advance who covers what. Check the rules and permits for music and events at private villas before you commit.
