Manon & Alec at Villa Can Es
By the Ibiza Wedding Inspiration editorial team · Updated 23 October 2026
Manon and Alec travelled from Belgium for a two-day wedding at Villa Can Es: a garden ceremony in greenery and white flowers and a dinner at the villa, then a pool party the next day. They organised it all from home.
The couple
Manon and Alec live in Belgium and had always pictured getting married abroad. They settled on Ibiza, but they did not want to organise a wedding in another country by themselves; as they put it afterwards, there is simply too much to think about. Planned by Bliss Ibiza Weddings, the wedding took shape from a first call in which the couple felt understood straight away. Their Pinterest board was enough to show the look they had in mind: organic, natural and quietly elegant.
From there the planning covered almost everything a villa wedding needs: finding the venue, then the caterer, the florist, the decoration, the cake and the furniture. The couple singled out the planner's eye for detail and her network on the island as the parts that made the biggest difference.
The ceremony
The wedding took place over two days at Villa Can Es. On the first day, Manon and Alec married in the garden, among palms and lawns, under an arch of greenery. The flowers were white, used generously but kept natural, so the garden itself did much of the decorating. Guests sat on wooden chairs either side of an open aisle. For how a ceremony like this works next to the legal paperwork, see symbolic ceremonies.
Dinner and party
After the ceremony, the wedding dinner was held at the villa itself, kept intimate in size. Long wooden tables were laid in the garden with tall white floral arrangements, white linen runners and simple tableware, in keeping with the rest of the day.
The second day was looser: a pool party at the villa for family and friends, which everybody loved. It gave everyone who had travelled for the wedding an easy day in the sun together.
The details
- White flowers and greenery only, with no strong accent colour
- Wooden cross-back chairs for the ceremony and the dinner
- Tall white centrepieces raised on stands above the tables
- A second day by the pool instead of a formal brunch
Good to know
A villa makes a two-day wedding simple, because the setting for the ceremony, the dinner and the next-day party is already yours. Before you book, confirm in writing that the owner allows events and check the minimum stay; many villas ask for several nights. If you are planning from abroad, a strong mood board saves a lot of explanation. The guest guide helps when most of your guests are travelling too.
