Pierre & Juliana at Agroturismo Atzaró

By the Ibiza Wedding Inspiration editorial team · Updated 23 October 2026

Pierre and Juliana married in the clifftop church of Es Cubells and celebrated at Agroturismo Atzaró, with a champagne tower in place of a cake. A sunset cocktail dinner before and a sea-view brunch and sunset party after framed the weekend.

The couple

Pierre and Juliana wanted a wedding that felt modern and polished but still unmistakably local: part bohemian, part contemporary, with a strong sense of the island underneath. Planned by Bliss Ibiza Weddings, the result was a village church ceremony on the south-west coast, a reception in the countryside, and two days of gentler celebrations either side.

The ceremony

They chose the small white church of Es Cubells, which stands on a cliff above the sea in one of the island's quietest villages. A classic white wedding car waited outside, a period touch that suited the old church. After the vows, the guests left the coast for Agroturismo Atzaró, an estate of gardens and orchards inland, where the aperitif was served under the palm trees to a guitarist and singer.

For couples weighing a church against a symbolic ceremony, the paperwork for a Catholic wedding is covered in church and religious ceremonies.

Dinner and party

The team treated the entrance to dinner as the moment that sets the mood, so the couple came in to a few songs that brought everyone to their feet. When dessert arrived, an Ibiza singer took the microphone and a five-piece band kept the dance floor full. Later the party moved to Atzaró's small club, where a DJ played with a live vocalist until late.

There was no cake-cutting. Both lovers of champagne, Pierre and Juliana built a champagne tower instead, a French custom, set against a lit heart, and poured it themselves for their guests just before the first dance.

The details

The styling kept to white with earthy tones so the farm setting could carry the look: long drapes of fabric, and white flowers in many varieties rather than one statement bloom. Juliana wore a corset-back gown with lace, embroidery and off-the-shoulder cupped sleeves in a sheer mesh. The couple asked for photographs that felt spontaneous and bold but finished like fine art, and the gallery reads almost like a storyboard of the day.

The weekend around the wedding was deliberately low-key. On the first evening, guests gathered for a standing cocktail dinner as the sun went down, followed by a family-style menu for sharing, and everyone went home early to rest. After the wedding came a brunch at a sea-view restaurant with plenty of food and restorative cocktails, an afternoon on sunbeds, and a second sunset party with dancing.

Good to know

Splitting the ceremony and the reception across the island works well when the church is the point: Es Cubells is in the south-west, Atzaró in the countryside near Santa Gertrudis and Sant Llorenç, so plan the transfer and give guests a drink when they arrive. A quiet first night and an easy brunch the day after let people enjoy the wedding itself without running out of energy.
